Visit our showroom!
You don’t have to be at the point where you’re ready to move ahead with your garage door project to come visit us, but if you are at that point, you may want to come in soon.
We have exactly what you need to inspire you to finish your project.
Getting the project started
You can look at the Design Centre online and make a model of your door if you haven’t yet. If you have, that’s excellent, because it means that you are definitely ready to move forward and select the materials for your project. Even if you don’t have a model made, we can still help you with getting supplies for your project.
The experts at Georgian Door & Gate know the latest trends in garage doors, but they also know how to make sure that each different customer is getting exactly what they need. They can use photographs of houses, plans, and any other pertinent materials you want to bring in to help you make a good selection. If you can get colour swatches of your home’s exterior colour, the colour of your windows and the colour of your front door, you’ll find that to be very helpful in selecting a good garage door.
Coming to visit our showroom in Barrie is a big part of taking your project to the next level. When you come into the showroom, you’ll be able to take a look at options such as the LiftMasterTM garage door opener, which is a great addition to any garage, particularly if you have a very heavy door that you want to install.
You’ll also find that you’re able to inspect the garage doors to see what they look like in person. Sometimes, seeing the colour up close may make you change your mind about how you want to coordinate the look of your home. You may also decide on different windows than you had in mind once you see how different options allow natural light through and other variables. Being able to actually touch the doors allows you to get an idea of how sturdy they are and whether or not they’re suitable for your needs.
We will also ask you some general questions. These all help guide the process of selecting your garage door and are common to most any project. You need to know, for instance, what architectural style your house is built in, because you won’t want to clash with your selected garage door. You have very different considerations if you have a heated garage or a garage without any heating, which will impact your choices. You also need to consider elements such as whether or not there is a room located above the space where your garage door will be installed and how that may impact your choices.
